Every Girl Counts is fully invested in helping young women in Kenya launch into a life where they can thrive. This means that we do not stop simply at providing resources for their education. In Kenya, students are at high risk for dropping out of school, and most of the reasons they would do so are hardships outside of the classroom. Every Girl Counts has found that providing in just a few simple areas can greatly reduce the risk of dropping out.

  • Food

    EGC feeds girls at weekly discipleship. During special challenging family circumstances, we provide food baskets to students—A food basket costing less than $25 can feed a family for 2-3 weeks.

  • Hygiene

    Every Girl Counts provides menstrual care products each month of the year to ensure girls can stay in school.

  • Site Visits

    True impact involves more that providing resources. Every Girl Counts makes routine visits in order to build relationships with both schools and families.

  • Pregnancy Care

    Every Girl Counts works to ensure that teen girls who choose life find their way back into education through advocacy and support.
